Alternative Fuel, will it overtake oil as our primary fuel source?

by admin on March 10, 2010

Hi, What are the main reasons why alternative fuels will not overtake oil as our primary fuel source? One of the most clear reasons is that it will become too expensive to change, but what are some of the other arguments why it will not overtake oil as our primary fuel source?

Oil is still among the cheapest ways to generate a unit of energy. Until alternatives meet those efficiencies, adoption will be slow. The n, as you mentioned, you have huge changeover costs that are going to retard adoption in any case.
