Fuel Price Conspiracy?

by admin on February 22, 2010

Is it possible that the rising fuel costs are a result of a conspiricy? I believe that somehow prices are rising due to someones desire to switch to alternative fuels. Eventually people are going to become tired of the price and want to switch…..My question is: At what price are you going to stop buying gasoline?

Whether you stop buying it or not you are still reliant on it. Just about everything you buy is transported at some time before you get it.

I switched a long time ago. I’ve been putting more miles on my bike than my car for almost a decade, and I’ve never had a big car or even an automatic transmission – going back to my ‘69 Beetle back in the day. Am I green? Not really. I like riding, and I don’t like driving oversized vehicles.

Is it a conspiracy? Extremely unlikely. Developing countries like India and China are increasing their needs, and it doesn’t take very much excess demand to drive prices up since supply can’t be increased quickly or easily.
